Capcom notes some Deluxe content “may be provided later” as post-launch delivery, and that the cosmetics are purely visual. The charms are the only items with gameplay effect — they slot into the same system as the demo’s Kubi Akari reward (see the demo page).

Notes worth knowing before you order: Amazon briefly mislisted the SteelBook at $94.99 before price-matching down to $74.99. The Europe Premium Deluxe SteelBook listing is ⚠ single retail source. And multiple retailers list the Switch 2 physical release as a Game-Key Card — a download key in a box rather than a full cartridge ⚠ retailer listings; no Capcom statement. Capcom also sells its own bundles via the official Capcom Town stores in Japan and the US, linked from the official site.
Which edition should you buy?
Every item beyond the base game is cosmetic except the charms, and no gameplay content is edition-locked. Our read: Standard before the Sep 24–25 cutoff is the value pick — the early-purchase charm means you are not giving up gameplay items. Go Deluxe only if the Red Armor look or extra charms appeal; Premium Deluxe is for outfit collectors. The Deluxe and Premium kits are expected to be sold separately later ⚠ RPG Site, so upgrading afterwards will likely be possible, though Capcom has not announced a Standard→Deluxe upgrade path.

Is there a collector’s edition with a statue?
No. The most elaborate versions are the SteelBook Edition (Americas, $74.99), the PS5-only Lenticular Edition in Europe, and a Premium Deluxe SteelBook in EMEA. No statue edition exists.
What is the pre-order bonus?
The Lion Dog charm plus the Sealed Curse sword skin on every edition; Deluxe and Premium Deluxe add the White Monkey charm and White Lion sword skin. Because the release moved forward, these became a time-limited “early purchase” bonus rather than strictly pre-order.
When do the early-purchase bonuses expire?
September 24, 11:59 PM local time on PS5, Xbox, Windows and Switch 2; September 25, 4:59 PM PDT on Steam and Epic. Buying before those cutoffs — even after launch day — still grants the bonus items.
Do the cosmetics affect gameplay?
The sword, outfit and gauntlet skins are purely cosmetic by Capcom’s own description. Charms are the exception — they are equippable items that strengthen Musashi, though exact numbers are unannounced.
